Zero 7 – When It Falls (180g Vinyl 2LP)

Originally issued in 2004, this second full-length effort by U.K. down beat production duo Zero 7 measures up to their breakout 2001 debut, Simple Things with its organic arrangements and diverse vocal contributions. When it Falls’ atmospheric ambience is well balanced through its contrasting use of instrumental tracks and warm, energized vocal styles. Zero 7’s ability to produce a band dynamic on its recordings continued to set them apart from most down beat, electronic acts. This vinyl only When it Falls re-issue mirrors the original release, cut over four sides using the original artwork, but is now pressed on heavyweight 180g vinyl. Cutting by engineer Kevin Metcalfe using his original notes. A timeless classic essential for some laidback summer chilling!
