Now on colored vinyl! What do you get when you drop the Wu’s finest bars over classic Dixieland jazz tunes? The answer lies within the grooves of Wu Orleans- an unexpected, but totally effective mash-up album from DJ BC. Here BC (who also produced the Phillip Glass/Hip-Hop album Glassbreaks) props up verses from Method Man, ODB, Raekwon, etc. against beats backed by Fats Domino, Louis Armstrong, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and more, resulting in Wu-classics like you’ve never heard them before. 10 tracks in all.
