Seymour Duncan MortalCoil Bridge 7-String ActMt Pickup
The MortalCoil Bridge is a high-output active 7-string humbucker engineered to capture extended-range instruments with modern clarity and articulation while preserving sustain and note definition. Its low-resistance coil design and integrated preamp deliver tight, responsive tracking across all seven strings with minimal noise, cutting through dense mixes without sacrificing individual string clarity or introducing unwanted artifacts into your recordings.
Active Electronics & Tone Shaping
This pickup pairs a low-resistance, high-density copper coil with an advanced audio-optimized preamp for noise-free amplification and consistent output across the full frequency spectrum. The active circuitry is engineered for efficient operation, extending battery life during extended sessions while maintaining transparent signal integrity from string to string—essential for tracking rhythm and lead parts with precision.
Installation & Compatibility
The active mount design integrates the preamp directly into the pickup structure for streamlined installation and reduced setup time in your recording chain. All required potentiometers and wiring harnesses are included to complete your 7-string bridge position setup without sourcing additional components, letting you dial in your tone quickly and focus on tracking.
