Seymour Duncan Hot Chicken Strat Stack White Pickup Set
The Hot Chicken Strat Stack delivers articulate, punchy single-coil character with the noise-canceling benefits of a stacked design, making it an essential choice for home studios and recording sessions where electrical noise interference can compromise track clarity without sacrificing classic Strat voice. This three-pickup set balances vintage clarity with modern reliability, offering the responsiveness expected from a Seymour Duncan design in a clean white finish that complements traditional and contemporary studio aesthetics alike.
Design & Construction
Built using a stacked coil design with A5 chamfered rod magnets, these pickups achieve hum-cancellation while preserving the single-coil tonality essential for capturing articulate, defined recordings. The stacked configuration provides electromagnetic balance without the bulk of traditional dual-coil pickups, making installation straightforward in any standard Stratocaster cavity and enabling quick session swaps when tracking multiple tonal approaches.
Tone & Performance
The neck and middle positions share identical output levels, wind direction, and magnetic polarity, creating tonal consistency across those frequencies and ensuring predictable blending during overdubs and layering. This matched pair approach guarantees smooth character transitions between positions while the bridge pickup completes a cohesive tonal palette suited to capturing vibrant recordings across rock, blues, and contemporary production styles.
