Schott Mariettas Lied, Op. 12

This new edition contains two versions of the aria – one in the original key of B-flat major for soprano and a transposed version for mezzo-soprano. “…includes all instrumental parts and two versions of the aria for soprano (original key of B-flat) and mezzo-soprano (G Major). The result is a marvelous opportunity to program an aria beloved by sopanos and coveted by many a mezzo, with all the rich harmonies and gorgeous postromantic colors preserved intact, in both keys.” – Journal of Singing
