Schirmer Translate – (from Summer Sun, Winter Moon)

From the larger work Summer Sun, Winter Moon, this movement seeks to give voice to the series of words that the early American explorers had to translate: numbers, seasons, days. Full of musical imagery, recurring motifs and a fresh textural treatment. Recorded by the Young People’s Chorus of New York, Francisco Nunez, Conductor. Available for SATB, SAB or SSA.
