Collabo album from Chico Mann and Captain Planet! Night Visions explores the vibrant crossroads of the two artists’ backgrounds in global soundscapes, effortlessly blending afro-latin rhythms with updated sounds ready to take on the modern dancefloor. CP’s production is definitely influenced by his “regular crowd-moving DJ sets,” and CM’s vocals are reminiscent of something you would hear on vintage Cuban rumba or classic Afrobeat records. A truly synergic project that really puts the duo at the forefront of the contemporary alternative Latin sounds. Tracks to check out: “Como Me Miras,” “Cuentos de Anoche,” “Oye Bien,” “Ya Te Toca,” “Can’t Let Go,” “Y Ahora Que,” and “Misunderstood.”
