Antibalas returns in top form with a double dose of modern afrobeat vibes on Daptone. The NY-based band gives us the first single off their 2012 self-titled full length with “Dirty Money,” a percussion-heavy afro workout with huge horns, tight guitars and funky organ work Fela would be proud of. Flipside features “AWOL,” a non-album cut exclusive to this 45.
