Made in La Estrada, Galicia, Spain around 2000 by Carlos Rodriguez Oliveira (CROF), this F-pitched “requinta” is crafted from cocobolo wood with wide brass rings and a tuning slide. The flute includes a single decorative key and is designed in the style favored by gaita players, including notable musicians such as Carlos Núñez and Bieito Romero.
The instrument is bright and agile, well-suited for traditional music settings.
