BSS BLU-BOB2 Break-in/out Box
The BSS BLU-BOB2 is a professional-grade interface built to route analog audio across networked pro audio environments with transparent signal integrity. Compact at 1RU and drawing minimal power, it integrates seamlessly into existing studio and live racks while maintaining full fidelity across multiple channels. This break-in/out box bridges analog legacy equipment and modern digital audio networking infrastructure, enabling flexible session routing without signal degradation.
Analog Audio Performance
Eight analog outputs deliver +19dBu maximum level with exceptional clarity: THD measures below 0.01% across 20Hz–20kHz at +10dBu output, and 108dB dynamic range keeps noise floor transparent in critical recording and mixing applications. Frequency response of 20Hz–20kHz ±0.5dB/−1dB with crosstalk below −75dB guarantees pristine channel isolation and full-spectrum audio transmission across your monitoring and outboard gear chains.
Digital Connectivity & Networking
The BLU-BOB2 connects to BSS Audio’s 256-channel, low-latency digital audio bus via two RJ45 Ethernet connectors, supporting standard Cat5e cabling up to 100 meters between devices. For extended range in larger facilities, the optional BSS Audio MC-1 fiber optic media converter pushes distances beyond 10 kilometers, making this unit ideal for multi-room studios, networked monitoring systems, and session flexibility across distributed spaces.
