Madonna – Bedtime Stories [CD]

Entertainment Weekly: “Male artists normally control new jack swing, using women as their sex puppets, but Madonna kicks that formula in the groin. Not only could she never be considered any boys toy, but in a way, she could actually be viewed as new jack swings godmother.”

Vibe magazine praised “Take a Bow,” Madonna’s longest running number one single of all time, calling it “a New Soul masterpiece,” further acknowledging Madonna’s successful foray into R&B and soul genres.
