An accessible entry point into uilleann piping, this practice set from Bagpipes Galore includes the three components a beginner needs to get started: bag, bellows, and chanter. The chanter body is ABS plastic, keeping the set lightweight and easy to maintain.
A uilleann pipe practice set is the standard starting configuration in the tradition, containing no drones or regulators. It allows a new piper to focus entirely on bellows technique, bag management, and chanter fingering before taking on the added complexity of a half or full set. The quiet, controlled sound makes it well suited to home practice and skill building.
Bagpipes Galore is a Scottish company producing bagpipes and accessories across a range of styles and price points. This practice set offers an accessible way to learn traditional Irish piping techniques without the complexity of a full uilleann pipe set.
