Augustine: Tradition, Innovation, Excellence
Since 1946, the Augustine name has been synonymous with the classical guitar. Itwas the innovative mind of Albert Augustine, coupled with the unparalleledartistry of Andrs Segovia that resulted in the first ever commercially producednylon strings for classical guitar. For their longevity, consistency, cleartone, and reliable pitch, nylon strings all but rendered traditional gut stringsobsolete. Augustine Strings became the standard by which all other classicalstrings were measured.

Augustine is proud to introduce Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings totheir product line.
