This two-piece blackwood and sterling silver whistle by Abell is pitched in Bb, bearing serial number 1545. The instrument is in as-new condition throughout.
The tone is clear and open with a subtle woody quality underneath, giving it a character distinct from all-metal whistles. The upper register speaks freely and is easy to reach without forcing.
